Jessica Alba - News And Biography

Everybody has some inclination as to who Jessica Alba is.  You have heard her name in the tabloids and probably read numerous news stories that paint her in a flattering or unflattering light.  Jessica Alba got her start at age 13 in projects like Camp Nowhere and The Secret World of Alex Mack.  She first got noticed for her efforts in the series Dark Angel.  She has also appeared in blockbuster movies like the visionary Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller film Sin City, the silly superhero The Fantastic Four and the naked sex-romp Good Luck, Chuck.  (Though she got spared much of the humiliation)

All of this helped to establish Jessica Alba as one of the world’s sexiest move stars.  She has made the list of practically every men’s publication in the U.S. including Maxim Magazine, AskMen.com and FHM.  Playboy Magazine got in hot water because of using an ultra-hot bikini clad picture of her for their cover, apparently without authorization.  Additionally, she has won several awards for her work in TV and movies.  Personally speaking, she is married to Cash Warren and the couple now has their first child named Honor Marie.

What’s the latest on Jessica news?  She is certainly an activist for good causes, even at the risk of her own reputation.  She has done charity work for Habitat for Humanity, Revlon Run/Walk for Women, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Project Home, SOS Children Villages, Soles4Souls, Step up and Clothes Off Our Back.

Two of her most notorious campaigns got her some criticism, but only helped to endear her to the core fan base.  She appeared in a bondage-themed photo print in 2008 with the intention of encouraging voter registration for young people.  The feature showed Alba being gagged and wrapped in black tape, which naturally earned a great deal of controversy.  Still, Alba defended her actions by stating “I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically.  If you don't register and vote…you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”

Her most recent trouble with the law developed solely because of a righteous cause—bringing America’s attention to the plight of the diminishing population of Great White Sharks.  Naturally, no one involved with the case wanted to make a big deal of it, because as always, Jessica’s intentions were good.  Yes, her fan club even forgives her for Good Luck, Chuck.  For more on her biography, visit the official website.
