Lindsay Lohan - News And Biography

Lindsay Lohan, the brash teen addicted to the party lifestyle, the nude centerfold and Marilyn Monroe’s obsessed fan, the “mean girl” who can’t seem to take Hollywood seriously.  We’ve all heard of Lindsay Lohan, and have read the tabloids.  Who is the young 22-year old behind the controversy?  Lohan is an actress, model and pop singer who has been involved with show business for most of her life.  She started out as a child fashion model and did several TV ads and magazine features.  By the time she was 10 years of age, she was already starring on the Another World soap opera.  Then she hit it big in the Disney remake of The Parent Trap playing identical twins.  (Something that usually only respected sitcom actors ever attempt!) 

Then came the next phase of Lindsay’s growing pains: a leading actress.  Her most prominent films as a leading star were Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Mean Girls.  She also worked with acclaimed director Robert Altman in A Prairie Home Companion, Altman’s last film.  There’s no doubt that Lohan has a talent for playing the leading lady.  She has almost effortlessly adapted her talents to the big screen joining the more impressive young actress elite that included Drew Barrymore and Scarlett Johansson, as opposed to celebrities who take occasional forays into acting like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. 

Lindsay has no doubt met with intense media scrutiny as well as extreme tabloid journalism in the 2008-2009 period.  Her relationship with Samantha Ronson proved to be controversial, not to mention her hard partying lifestyle and conflicts with her parents.  Despite all of that controversy, and even despite a Hollywood backlash that threatened to kill her career, Lohan has still managed to land important projects and leading roles in movies like Labor Pains (2009) and The Other Side (2010).

The latest news concerning Lindsay?  She and Ryan Seacrest are teaming up for a new reality show.  Both celebrities recently shared their “tweets” with America: Ryan: “Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her…it helps people and gives others a second shot!  Still putting it all together.”  Lindsay: “Working on a really great project for television - I am excited!  Something meaningful like Extreme Home Makeover on ABC… :)”

Well what else can you say after a Lindsay biography, but that she is one unpredictable young lady.
