Scarlett Johansson is the talk of the town.  It’s hard to remember back when she was just a girl in Robert Redford’s The Horse Whisperer or even just a young director’s wife in Lost in Translation.  Suddenly, this shy and voluptuous actress (as opposed to super anorexically thin) has become America’s Sexiest Woman, rivaling even Angelina Jolie and Paris Hilton.  What is to account for Scarlett’s super sensuality?

Going over to the average male magazine (like Playboy, Maxim, FHM) you’re likely to hear the simple explanation that Scarlett’s boobs are what set her apart from the crowd.  The female-oriented magazines (like Cosmo, Esquire and Vanity Fair) are just as nuts about this starlet, and more than a few women proudly admit to having a non-sexual crush on her.  What’s not to love about Scarlett Johansson?  She’s sexy without being desperate, and her face seems to suggest that she’s “interested” without gawking at you.  She’s the woman every man would love to kiss and the cute girlfriend every woman wants for a dinner date.

Her physique is not merely sexy, but glamorous as in the old Hollywood age, back when women ate and only the malnourished starved.  However you certainly wouldn’t think of voluptuous when staring at a Scarlett Johansson bikini picture.  All you would see is her glowing face, glistening body and that lucky bikini that hugs her so tightly.  There are several online galleries available that feature Scarlett in bikinis, revealing dresses and half opened blouses.  Warning: these pictures may cause seizures in lonely men! 

What we think truly captivates people all over the world about Scarlett Johansson is a combination of her movie persona and her real life outspokenness.  It’s hard not to listen to a woman ferocious enough to play Iron Man’s nemesis (Black Widow) but seductive enough to play Jonathan Rhys Meyers’ fire-and-ice mistress in Match Point, a woman dangerous enough to tear apart a wealthy family.  Indeed, there is something very alluring and even forbidden about Scarlett’s beauty.  Does the name Scarlett seem to imply southern seductiveness ala Scarlett O’Hara?  Does it recall to mind the lusts and desires of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s The Scarlet Letter?  Or perhaps even the board game murderer Miss Scarlett?  This Scarlett could very well “knock you dead” and without the need for a wrench or horseshoe!

One thing is for sure, when we see Scarlett Johansson in a red bikini, you can bet that we’re not paying attention to whatever you’re saying!
