Sienna Miller Style

What is the style of Sienna Miller?  Sienna Miller as we all know is the missing link between exotic British beauty and American Woman “stay away from me” bombshell.   Though technically born in America, she was raised in England and has a decidedly British approach to her interviews and sensibilities.  She may be best known to American viewers as the lovely woman who refused to forgive Jude Law’s nannying around.  (Her ties to Jude are strengthened further by her agreeing to work with Closer director Patrick Marber in After Miss Julie)  Americans might also recognize her from her modeling career or her scene-stealing performance in the fantasy film Stardust.

The distinctive Sienna Miller style is very powerful, sexy and adaptive, depending on the scenery around her.  In Stardust she was the perfect portrait of hauteur and elegance, playing the upper class twit Victoria, the beautiful girl who somehow who didn’t deserve the handsome prince.   Wearing a white dress and golden locks which rival Rapunzel’s own, Miller managed to be sexy and inaccessible—the cute girl who drives you crazy until you finally outgrow your teenage crush.

On the other hand, just witness Sienna Miller opposite Heath Ledger in Casanova or opposite a fictionalized Andy Warhol in Factory Girl.  This is a beautiful face that still manages to make our blood boil due to intense performances.  Sienna Miller is just as likely to be seen in a designer dress or Coca-Cola ad as she is to be spotted in a cleavage-bearing teeny-weenie bikini.  She also has a certain British irreverence that goes nicely with her American independence.  What other girl could get away with saying, “I have met a few Casanovas I like and a few I have not liked - and I hope to meet a few more.”

If that’s not enough Sienna to do you in then just hold your breath as you gaze at her latest comic book villainess garb in the upcoming film G.I. Joe.  She will squeeze into tight leather and artillery wear as the sensual femme fatale whose beauty is matched only by her ruthless approach to military control.  You can look like Sienna Miller too and adopt her style of designer luxury, generous touches of makeup, golden blonde hair and if we’re lucky those female fatale glasses that define the Baroness!
