Victoria Beckham Fashion Style - Clothing, Hair, Denim

Fashion by Victoria Beckham?  What is the Victoria Beckham fashion style, anyway?  Victoria Beckham is not just an ex-Spice Girl or a solo singer—she’s an international style icon.  She has worked with many big names in fashion like Maria Grachvogel, as well as Rocawear, Rock & Republic and Roberto Cavalli.  She also walked the runway at Milan Fashion Week and guest-edited the March 2006 issue of Harper's Bazaar.

What are some of her best features?  Beckham has seen a great deal of success with her dVB like of eyewear.  Beckham stated, “I'm quite obsessed with sunglasses. I collect vintage Guccis and Carreras—they can make virtually any outfit look cool.”  Later, she launched her own label of denim clothing, called dVB Style and then Intimately Beckham, a his-and-her fragrance label.  Last but not least, she also produced a line of handbags and jewelry with the Samantha Thavasa Company.

Victoria has also received her fair share of awards for fashionable efforts.  She won two British Glamour Magazine Awards for Woman and Entrepreneur of the Year.”  She also appeared on the London's Graduate Fashion Week as a judge.  Only recently has her line of clothing and her perfume line launched on American soil.  How did international sales do?  Fabulously—in fact, initial estimates of 100 million dollars were almost doubled by the end of 2008.

Victoria is credited with popularizing many fashion trends including the moon dress (by Roland Mouret) and of course that out-of-this-world hairstyle.  Her haircut changes periodically but recently she has sported an asymmetrical short cut, sometimes referred to as the Pob (Posh’s Bob).  This hair cut looks like something in between tousled and messy and sleek and silky smooth.  It helps to move your hair forward, framing the face and falling seductively down to the eyes.

Some of Victoria’s most popular contemporary fashions include the trompe l’oeil dress, the rousillion, the lombez, the minerve and camargue.  The distinctive style of Victoria Beckham is postmodern, simple in color but complex in design and always with the highest quality of material and the subtlest details. Beckham’s designs flatter the female form and work as testaments to the love of fashion in the 21st century.

You can look like Victoria Beckham too, by applying her hairstyle, thinking in denim and always sporting a look a timeless style of dressing.  Look up Victoria’s official website for more ideas on fashion tips.
